Job summary

MV Transportation in Union City, CA is actively hiring Bus Operators for full-time and part-time roles. No prior bus driver experience is required. Starting pay is $26.50/hour with paid holidays and a benefits package after probation.

You will report to training, drive safely, and provide excellent customer service while transporting the public and communicating with dispatch. Positions offer weekends/holidays off and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CA Driver’s License with at least two years of driving experience.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required.
• Able to communicate to passengers and over two-way radio in English.
• Able to read a turn sheet to perform turns and remember routes.

Responsibilities

• Report to training and to work shifts on time.

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
• Transport general public passengers and provide fare/transfer info.
• Radio communicate transport details with dispatch.
• Complete necessary daily work shift documents (e.g., total passengers carried).

PREVIOUS BUS DRIVER EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED!

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a current and valid California Driver’s License with at least two (2) full years of experience
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required
• Able to communicate to passengers and over two-way radio using the English Language
• Be able to read a turn sheet to perform left and right turns and remember the routes
