Job summary

MaineGuide in Auburn, ME is seeking shuttle bus operators to safely transport passengers between Lewiston/Auburn and Portland. You will operate on a rotating schedule including weekend nights and weekday nights, loading and assisting passengers and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

The role requires a CDL B with P and Air Brake endorsements, a clean driving record, excellent communication, knowledge of local routes, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and passing pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle buses in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Safely transport passengers within designated service area.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the shuttle bus, and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained shuttle bus.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections on the shuttle bus, and report any mechanical issues to a supervisor.
• Adhere to established schedules and routes.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including answering questions, providing information about destinations, and ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for all passengers.

Job description

This service operates 7 days a week, driving a commuter bus from Lewiston/Auburn to Portland.

Positions Available: Part-time night shift on the weekends or full time night shift on Tuesday and Wednesday with rotating weekends. Full time morning shift.
Hours:

• Day shift 4:30 am-1:50 pm
• Night shift rotates 2:00 pm-11:00 pm and 1:25 pm-12:07 am.
• Weekend part-time shift 5:30 am-2:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate shuttle buses in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
