Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a customer-focused driver for our Easton, PA location, operating a 26 ft box truck to collect sharps and medical waste from healthcare facilities in NYC/NJ/DE/PA. A $3,000 new hire bonus is offered after probation, with a 2nd shift schedule and 40-50 hours per week.

We require a Class B license with a clean driving record, a valid DOT medical card, and at least 3 years of 26 ft box truck experience.

Qualifications

Class B license with clean driving record.
Valid DOT medical card.
Minimum 3 years driving a 26 ft box truck.
Experience with pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Familiarity with DOT compliance and logging hours.
Touch freight experience is required.

Responsibilities

Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA.
Operating 26 ft box truck safely.
Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
Consistently lifting up to 50lbs.
Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs.
