QXO is seeking a Boom Truck Operator to safely transport, deliver, and position building materials at customer sites. The role combines CDL driving with skilled boom operation, requiring DOT/OSHA compliance and strong safety awareness.

The ideal candidate has experience operating commercial vehicles with a hydraulic boom, focuses on safety, and delivers exceptional customer service while coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license in good standing.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating hydraulic boom equipment or boom trucks preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform DOT/FMCSA inspections and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport building materials to customer job sites safely and efficiently.
• Operate hydraulic boom to unload and position materials per customer specs.
• Plan routes considering traffic, weather, and access issues.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; document deliveries.
