Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a CDL driver to join our fleet in the United States. You will perform touch-freight tasks, load materials, inspect loads, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries, while following DOT safety requirements.

Must have a valid Class A or B CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Competitive benefits and compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
