Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. Lakeside, CA is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver to service local stores, unload and merchandise beverages, rotate stock, and build engaging displays that drive sales.

The role starts early (around 5:00am), follows a variable schedule with 3 days off per week, and ends upon route completion. You’ll work at about $32 per hour, require a valid CDL, and must meet DOT regulations while delivering safely and on time.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and follow DOT regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Position requires lifting and loading cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly and pushing/pulling 40-150 pounds.
• Position requires reaching, squatting and bending during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery vehicle on an assigned route and deliver product to customer locations (including Foodservice).
• Unload product and place it in designated backroom areas using a pallet jack or hand truck, as needed.
• Rotate and stock product on shelves, displays, and in coolers/vending equipment to meet local standards and ensure freshness.
• Build small displays and set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners.
• Generate invoices, complete daily settlement of cash and charges, and work closely with store management/receiving personnel for acceptance of deliveries.
