Job summary

Midwest Environmental Services Inc. is hiring a commercial driver (CDL A/B with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements) to transport industrial waste across the Midwest from our Hamilton, OH facility. The role involves field work, safe operations, and interactions with customers.

You will operate vacuum trucks and related equipment, comply with DOT rules, and work year-round in varying conditions. Competitive benefits and a standard 40-hour week with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A or CDL B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Able to pass Federal D.O.T. Physical and Drug Screen
• We will accept present long form physicals with 6 months or more remaining
• Comply with all DOT regulation and rules
• Minimum of 21 years old and 2 years' CDL Driving experience
• 2 years of Hazmat and Tanker verifiable experience in the last 3 years or the same type of driving operation you are applying for
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with customers and the public
• Daily deliveries of materials to/from customers in an efficient and safe manner
• Late model equipment
• Manual and Automatic Transmission Trucks
• Operate various vehicles safely, including but not limited to Vacuum Truck, Vacuum Trailer, Turbo-Vac, Roll-Off Truck and Hydro Vac.
• Execution of field work on projects while under direct or indirect supervision.
• Work outside year-round in all types of weather.
• May work in environments that are extreme in nature like environmental conditions such as heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, dangerous equipment, long hours etc.
• May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds or more.
