Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Ashland, VA is seeking a Class B CDL Truck Driver. The role offers home daily routes, a Monday–Friday schedule, and paid training. You will operate well-maintained straight trucks with 40–45 hours per week and weekly pay.

Earn $25.50 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities. Uniforms and boot allowance, 401(k) with company match after one year, and maternity leave are provided. Emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance, including DOT checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification for last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
