Job summary

WM is seeking a CDL Class B driver to operate heavy-duty trucks on designated swing routes, adhering to DOT and safety requirements. The role includes pre/post-trip inspections, reporting issues, and coordinating with Route Managers to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B license.
• Strong reading, writing and spoken English for public interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty truck on swing routes following safety and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document DVIR findings.
• Report unsafe situations to Route Manager/Dispatch and coordinate with team.
• Dump containers properly and ensure customer locations are clean after service.
• Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch/Route Manager and maintain route documentation.
