Safety-Kleen in Chester, VA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. The role trains to drive a Class B box truck for onsite service of parts washers, pickup of containerized hazardous waste, and selling products/services along a defined route.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required at hire.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and medical examination may be required.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator policy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and adhere to all safe work practices.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washers and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets and manufacturing customers.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per US DOT and other requirements.
• Observe company EH&S guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
