Job summary

Veolia is seeking a CDL Driver to travel along an assigned route, packing, transporting and disposing of waste according to all regulations. The role requires maintaining records with accuracy, following instructions, and working independently with proper training. Up to four overnight stays and some weekend work are possible.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL Class B license and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Package and transport waste safely according to federal, state and local rules.
• Complete required paperwork per regulations and customer policies.
• Load and secure materials and waste at client sites or Veolia locations.
• Prepare and load truck with supplies.
• Provide high level customer service and communicate issues to Manager or Dispatcher.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on assigned truck.
• Plan routes based on daily paperwork and customer needs.
• Follow DOT guidelines while driving.
• Perform other duties as needed.
