Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. seeks a CDL-B Route Service Driver for Reliable Onsite Services division to service portable sanitation equipment and related assets. You will perform cleaning, stocking, on-site moves, and customer interactions while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, and ensuring timely routes with courteous service. A valid Class B CDL, DOT-regulated driving experience, and a high school diploma are required; some

Qualifications

• A valid Class B CDL driver's license and a safe driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required as business conditions dictate.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures.
• Work effectively in all weather conditions and customer work environments.

Responsibilities

• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment, and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units.
• Fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for additional services and supplies.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
