Job summary

Clean Harbors in Fresno, CA is seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to provide environmental services including collection and disposal of damaged, recalled products, recycling of light bulbs and oils, and on-site cleanup at customer sites. You will travel to different branches for training and attend a two-week out-of-state academy.

Expect 10–12 hour days with regular OT, and the company will pay for CDL-B training plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• The ability to use a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone are required.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Pickup, pack and transport damaged and recalled goods and materials.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste products.
• Drive a Box Truck to retail sites and visit customer locations.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Interact with customers at each stop and maintain documentation.
• Conduct projects according to site regulations and company policies.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations and safety plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
