Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, is seeking CDL Class B drivers to operate ready mix concrete trucks for deliveries across Kentucky. You will manage loading, routing, and customer interactions while maintaining safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Weekend and extended hours may be required as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B required; Class A option if applicable.
• High attention to detail and safety.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours.
• Proven ability to operate and deliver ready-mix concrete.
• Experience with customer interactions and basic product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Maintain communication with Dispatcher regarding deliveries and instructions.
• Check delivery tickets for special instructions and complete as required.
• Collect payments and record transactions from customers.
• Inform customers of new products or services and respond to inquiries.
• Address customer questions and complaints about basic concrete instruction.
• Monitor vehicle gauges and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Record sales and delivery information and maintain logs per DOT rules.
• Complete written reports and forward to maintenance for issues.
• Inspect truck equipment daily; report faults and ensure safety.
