Jernigan Oil Company, Inc. is seeking a Fuel/Propane Short Truck Delivery Driver in Ahoskie, NC. You will transport and deliver products safely, secure hoses, and complete regulatory paperwork with accuracy.

The role requires a valid CDL (A or B), Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and knowledge of DOT rules. A tablet and basic electronics familiarity are also needed; drivers report to the Chief Operations Officer and Dispatcher. Benefits include 401K, PTO, holidays, and insurance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B).
• Must hold Hazmat endorsement.
• Must hold Tanker endorsement.
• Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Must be able to operate a tablet and related electronics.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver products in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Secure hoses and tools using company-approved methods.
• Load and unload trailers, with lifting and moving of heavy items.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records per state and federal laws.
• Ensure operations comply with company policies and regulations.
• Represent the company to customers and the public in a professional manner.
