Job summary

Sysco delivers a variety of products to customers via a tractor-trailer. This role requires excellent customer service and strict adherence to state, DOT, and Sysco safety standards. Overtime, weekends, and early start times are common.

You will perform on-time deliveries, unload at customer sites, verify receipts, complete DOT logs, and maintain tractor/trailer cleanliness. A valid Class B CDL with 1 year CMV experience, 21+ years old, and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years local food/beverage delivery experience.
• Pallet breakdown and hand cart delivery experience.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class B CDL with insurable driving record.
• 1 year CMV driving experience.
• Ability to read/write English for safety and reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products within route schedule and time windows.
• Unload products using hand cart; place in customer storage areas.
• Lift/move heavy loads (1–75 lb; up to 100 lb).
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies.
• Collect money (cash or checks) when required.
• Complete DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Follow SyscoSafe methods and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain tractor/trailer sanitary conditions and assist in warehouse upkeep.
• Operate equipment safely and attend required meetings.
