Job summary

Reddy Ice in Vernon, CA is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to operate a straight truck and deliver ice to customers. A CDL Class B license is required to perform the route duties efficiently and safely.

You will unload, rotate, and fill ice at customer locations, maintain vehicle and equipment, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Must have a High School diploma or GED, plus 3 years route delivery experience preferred and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years route delivery driver experience preferred.
• 1+ year experience in a vehicle similar to what you will operate required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a clean company truck in a safe and professional manner.
• Unload, deliver, and rotate ice at customer locations using safe, courteous methods.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and comply with DOT hours of service requirements.
• Produce invoices and complete required paperwork for each delivery.
• Report accidents and injuries and maintain safety standards.
• Follow all SOPs and Lean principles to improve processes.
