Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is seeking a CDL-B Driver to safely transport explosive supplies to company job sites. You will manage load manifests, perform inspections, and ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met.

Daily tasks include loading/unloading, paperwork, and communication with dispatch. Qualifications include a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (Tank endorsement preferred), clean MVR, and solid knowledge of federal and state hazmat transport regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with Haz-mat Endorsement; Tanker Endorsement preferred.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Solid understanding of Federal DOT/ State regulations related to hazmat transport.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport explosives supplies to company job sites.
• Maintain load manifests and shipment documents.
• Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Load/unload products and ensure proper securing of loads.
• Comply with DOT safety rules and traffic laws.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and upkeep.
