Job summary

Miles Staffing Group is seeking dependable CDL B Drivers for our client in Columbus, OH. You will operate commercial vehicles to transport waste while maintaining safety and professional conduct in varied driving conditions.

Responsibilities include completing routes safely, performing vehicle inspections, and adhering to DOT regulations. Flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime, are required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• DOT certification or ability to obtain before hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in past 2 years.
• No disqualifying DUI/OVI offenses.
• Ability to operate a commercial vehicle in urban, residential and commercial environments.
• Reliable attendance and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles in residential and commercial areas, including high-traffic and tight driving conditions.
• Transport and handle residential and commercial waste in accordance with safety and operating standards.
• Travel between the office, customer locations, and job sites as required.
• Complete assigned routes and responsibilities safely and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with applicable DOT regulations and company policies.
• Conduct required vehicle inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work flexible schedules, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
