Safety-Kleen in Madison, WI seeks a Sales and Service Route Driver to train on a Class B truck, service parts washers, collect hazardous waste, and upsell products along a defined route. Qualifications

• Class B CDL required or able to obtain within a reasonable period.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment, or ability to obtain.
• Basic computer and math skills to perform daily tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Background check, drug test and physical may be required by position.
• Follow OSHA Respiratory Protection standards where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following all safe work practices and policies.
• May visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediments from sinks.
• Upsell at customer sites and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups promptly.
• Adhere to local, state (provincial) and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and other requirements.
• Follow environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Class B CDL
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
• Per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.

• Strong customer service skills
• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
