Responsibilities:
  1. Safely transport and deliver explosive supplies (hazardous materials) to job sites using Class B vehicles, with occasional use of Class C vehicles.
  2. Maintain accurate load manifests and vehicle documentation, ensuring proper completion and balance with truck counts and shipping documents.
  3. Receive products at magazine sites and store properly in inventory.
  4. Load products from magazine to distribution vehicles and unload at job sites.
  5. Secure loads and materials properly.
  6. Follow all DOT safety rules, including accurate logbooks and daily safety checks.
  7. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  8. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and schedule regular maintenance.
  9. Communicate work status effectively with supervisors and dispatchers.
  10. Represent the company professionally.
  11. Report vehicle incidents, accidents, and traffic violations promptly.
  12. Submit to Federal DOT required testing.
  13. Be flexible with start times based on schedule, with prior notice.
  14. Work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  15. Participate in field operations meetings and training as needed.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Class B CDL license with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements, ability to obtain DOT medical card, and a clean MVR.
  3. Successful commercial driving experience (training considered with proper license and acceptable MVR).
  4. Ability to pass ATF screenings.
  5. Knowledge of Federal DOT/State regulations related to hazardous materials transportation.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to perform essential functions of the role.
  2. Lift 50-80 lbs.
  3. Work outdoors in all weather conditions and on uneven surfaces.
  4. Stooping and bending 30-40% of the time.
  5. Occasional out-of-town and overtime work may be required.
