Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our Peoria, IL location. The role includes delivering to job sites, unloading material, and handling warehouse intake and inventory.

Overtime on Saturdays may be available, with a typical 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule and home every night. The candidate should have CDL Class B (or A) with Air Brake Endorsement, flatbed/Moffett experience, and the ability to lift heavy loads. DOT medical card and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A license.
• 1 year CDL Class B or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• Crane, air brakes and Moffett experience desired.
• Flatbed and Moffett experience required.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering products to job sites and unloading materials as requested.
• Receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks and processing inventory.
• Handle daily loading/unloading operations and ensure proper weight distribution.
• Support inventory management and assist with general warehouse duties.
