Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MO is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. The role requires a CDL B, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds while delivering food products on a Tuesday–Saturday schedule with early start times.

Qualifications

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL B with airbrakes endorsement.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements (where applicable).
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move heavy freight (10–90 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks on vehicle and equipment.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers per schedule.
• Verify customer invoices and collect signatures where required.
• Maintain proper paperwork and logs per DOT and company policy.
• Ensure trailer and freight are loaded, secured, and locked.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Complete daily hours-of-service documentation.
• Assist with general housekeeping and shift end paperwork.
