Job summary

QXO is hiring a CDL Class B driver in Rockland, MA to support our on-site loading, unloading and distribution operations. You will inspect loads, ensure safety, and communicate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules.

The role requires at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, a 21+ age minimum, and experience with heavy equipment and manual transmissions. We offer comprehensive benefits and pay between $28.00 and $35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Hoisting 1C license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
