Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to provide residential trash and recycling pickup, operating around 150 miles from home. You will inspect vehicles for safety, report issues, and maintain safety standards while staying on the road and not in an office.

The role offers weekly pay, a competitive base salary with incentive pay, and a benefits package including life insurance and a retirement plan with company match up to 5%. Shift is 10–12 hours, Monday–Friday, home daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A/B preferred; Class B driving experience preferred.
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years.
• Willingness to drive 10–12 hour shifts, home daily, for a trucking role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home.
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Report any defects, accidents, or violations.
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed.

Reports To: Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate around 150 miles of home
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed
