Responsibilities

• Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complies with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.
• Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports preventative maintenance needs to the management team.
• Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you will operate a waste hauling truck to provide trash and pickup. You will lift and carry residential waste and deposit it into a compactor throughout your route. The ideal candidate stays attentive to safety, reports any defects, accidents, or violations, and inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues along the way. • Work is performed on the road in varying weather conditions.
• Schedule is home daily, Monday through Friday, with shifts typically running 10-12 hours; additional hours may be needed based on business needs.
