Job summary

Target Specialty Products is hiring a Delivery Driver to transport products to customer locations, ensuring on-time deliveries and proper handling. The role includes assisting with order picking and warehouse tasks, operating box trucks/flatbeds, and maintaining delivery records.

You will interact with customers, help keep vehicles safe and well-maintained, and support branch operations with loading, packing, and inventory duties. CDL B and a valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience driving delivery vehicles (box trucks, vans) is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude during interactions.
• Willingness to assist with warehouse operations, including order picking.

Responsibilities

• Product Delivery: Safely transport products from the branch to customer locations, ensuring on-time deliveries and proper handling of goods.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle and report issues to keep it in good condition.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service during deliveries and verify customer satisfaction.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as required.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products, securing items for transport.
• Picking and Packing: Assist with picking and packing orders from the warehouse.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and DOT/CDL regulations for safe driving.
• Certifications: Obtain and maintain required license endorsements and certifications.
• Compliance: Adhere to all applicable regulations and company safety policies.
• Branch Support: Assist with warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking, inventory management.
