Job summary

Craft Massachusetts in Everett, MA is seeking a CDL B Driver for full-time, hourly, non-exempt work. The role offers a $28.00–$36.00 per hour pay range and a $1,500 sign-on bonus paid in installments. Schedule is Monday–Friday with start times around 5:15am to 5:45am depending on route.

As a Class B driver, you will operate straight and box trucks, assist with unloading, and maintain safe driving and professional customer service. A valid CDL B and at least one year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old to transport alcohol.
• Active CDL Class B License in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CDL B trucks.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times vary by route.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs.

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:15am - 2:00pm - 6:00pm; depending on route and daily workload

Pay Range: $28.00 - $36.00/hour

Objective: Class B Drivers are responsible for safely operating straight trucks and box trucks—all equipped with automatic transmissions. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper to assist with unloading. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer).
• Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs.
• Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
