Salary: $50,000.00
The CDL Auditor is responsible for ensuring and overseeing the day-to-day activities and compliance of the CDL third party program related to the CDL skills tests as well as truck schools overseen by Service Oklahoma. The CDL Auditor is to ensure the highest safety standards, improve operational efficiencies, statistical analysis, and troubleshoot/give guidance regarding their area of operation. This role involves working closely with multiple divisions to maintain compliance with both state and federal regulations while providing the best-in-class service.
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior. In-depth knowledge of both state and federal regulations pertaining to the CDL program and how to reference such regulations; provide proper feedback to applicants/ third-party examiners/ trainers/ truck schools. Proficient in technology and software relevant to conducting CDL skills examinations/reports/training/auditing. Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills; strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers; participate in the development and evaluation of program objectives and procedures; make sound decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively. Ability to obtain AAMVA CCE Certification; obtain Passenger, School Bus, and Tanker endorsements. Administer skills examinations for all classes of license/CMVs; work with sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality and appropriate discretion.
The preferred minimum qualifications for this position are: A Bachelor’s Degree in any field OR four (4) years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference may be given to candidates who have: A valid Class A CDL Prior CDL Experience and/or DL Examining Experience
