Job summary

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of related experience or formal vocational/technical training.
• Experience operating in uneven terrain and during site operations.
• Read and interpret site safety plans and load charts.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Follow safety rules, signs, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of truck for safety and maintenance concerns.
• Check fluid levels and top off/lubricate as needed.
• Operate haul unit safely and efficiently.
• Back machine into place accurately using mirrors.
• Follow hand/visual/audible signals from other personnel.
• Navigate grades and haul roads while maintaining control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
