Job summary

Imperative Logistics Group seeks a professional driver to safely operate a 26,000+ lb GVWR truck for local pickups and airport deliveries. You will load/unload cargo, coordinate with dispatch, and ensure accurate freight documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of driving experience, valid CDL and medical card, and strong paperwork skills; occasional heavy lifting and equipment operation are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 3 years commercial driving experience.
• Must hold valid Commercial Driver's License and active medical card.
• Ability to operate a truck with 26,000+ lbs gross vehicle weight.
• Ability to operate handheld computer / cellular telephone.
• Time management and accurate paperwork.
• Basic computer and email literacy.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport.
• Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher for instructions.
• Complete bill of ladings for airlines to tender freight (MAWB).
• Maintain driver logbook and daily vehicle inspection per ICC regulations.
• Interact daily with customers.
• Lift 50 lbs; load cargo over 1,000 lbs with pallet jack.
