Job summary

ISA Certified Arborist is seeking a full-time crew member to perform tree maintenance and vegetation management in coordination with foreperson direction. The role requires driving duties, safety compliance, and readiness for storm work. The position offers health benefits and a 401K option, with occasional travel as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), experience in related fields, and a valid driver’s license. CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and help enforce safe practices and procedures.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials needed for each day at Foreperson’s direction.
• Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree debris.
• Clean up and dispose of all debris.
• Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used in daily operations.
• Observe and practice climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve professional abilities.
• Assist other crew members in all aspects of daily work.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area by enforcing safe practices and keeping the area clean.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries

Valid Driver’s license

• Pay or shift range: $20 USD to $23 USD
  This is an estimated pay range for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
