Job summary

US Foods in Oklahoma City is hiring a CDL A Yard Jockey to move trailers, load and unload goods, and coordinate with dispatch for door assignments. You will ensure equipment is ready and staged for nightly shuttle operations, supporting efficient deliveries.

Required is a CDL Class A with DOT qualifications, 21+ years old, and ability to read/communicate in English. Six months of Class A experience is preferred; manual transmission experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Minimum of six months Class A commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred (where required)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck/trailer and door assignments
• Move trailers between buildings as directed
• Load, unload, or merge loads between environments
• Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers
• Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallets
• Place backhauls in correct door to be unloaded by warehouse
• Make sure all equipment is paired and ready for next day's deliveries
