Staffmark is hiring a CDL-A Yard Hostler in Hebron, KY, at a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. The role features a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential 5:00 PM finish depending on workload, and Saturday work may be available but is not mandatory.

The position involves operating yard hostler equipment to move containers, perform local yard moves, and support warehouse operations while adhering to DOT regulations and safety policies. Forklift training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and DOT Medical Card.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered with clean MVR.
• At least 1 year CDL experience and 21+ years old.
• Ability to safely maneuver trailers in congested yards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A yard hostler to move containers throughout the facility yard.
• Perform local yard moves and trailer spotting on-site.
• Safely maneuver trailers in a busy yard environment.
• Complete drop-and-hook movements of containers and trailers.
• Provide general warehouse and shipping support as needed.
• Assist with warehouse operations during slower periods.
• Operate a forklift (training provided).
• Follow DOT regulations, safety policies, and yard procedures.
• Coordinate container movement to support shipping and receiving.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
