Job summary
Staffmark Group in Marion, Ohio is seeking a CDL A Yard Hostler Driver to move trailers at the dock, stage equipment, and support loading and unloading in a busy distribution yard. This local, home-daily role pays $24.00 per hour and offers consistent night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with schedules based on operational needs.
You must have a valid CDL-A, DOT Medical Card, and FMCSA Clearinghouse clearance, with 1 year CDL experience or 2 years of tractor-trailer
Qualifications
- 22+ years of age
- Valid CDL-A license
- DOT Medical Card
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
- 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
- Strong backing and trailer maneuvering skills required
- Able to work safely in a manufacturing and distribution yard environment
- No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
Responsibilities
- Operate CDL A yard hostler
- No touch
- Move trailers in and out of dock doors
- Perform trailer spotting
- Couple and uncouple trailers
- Support loading and unloading operations
