Job summary

Purple Innovation, LLC is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver – Yard/Shuttle/Delivery/Dispatch. The role requires at least two years dispatch/yard control, driving and shuttling experience.

The driver will support traffic of all shipping and receiving loads for Purple locations, depots and warehouses. The job includes yard management, logging, customer interaction, shipment verification, vehicle maintenance and safety compliance with FMCSA/DOT rules.

Qualifications

• 2+ yrs. of Yard/Shuttling/Dispatch, of inbound/outbound Load management.
• Initiative-taking and meticulous individual with initiative-taking communication style with all teams.
• Strong organizational skills in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment.
• TMS system, scheduling, and carrier booking/appoint management.
• Ability to manage appointment schedule changes quickly and notify all parties involved.
• Solid computer skills with email and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for Dispatch as needed.
• Maintain logs and records of inbound-outbound carriers.
• Interact with local customers and advise them of our products.
• Confirm contents of each shipment matches manifest.
• Maintain and service vehicle (refuel, oil, etc.).
• Notify managers of maintenance or delivery issues.
• Maintain driving and delivery logs.
• Prepare and distribute daily emails.
• Coordinate driver schedules and yard movements.
• Assist Home Delivery Team on non-driving days.
• Move a mattress into a customer’s residence.
