Job summary

Associated Scaffolding in Columbia, SC is seeking a Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Associate to support construction sites by delivering and picking up construction access equipment and accessories, while maintaining safety and professional conduct.

When not on deliveries, you will perform warehouse inspections, reconditioning equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting management with general duties.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a current CDL-A driver's license with a good driving record (No more than 2 incidents in 3 years and no DWI/DUI or Careless/Reckless Driving charges in 5 years).
• Have a minimum of one year of commercial delivery driving experience.
• Possess a DOT medical card.
• Demonstrate a disposition for working as a member of a team.
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Be able to consistently lift 70 lbs. without assistance.
• Experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up construction access equipment and accessories at construction jobsites in a professional and safe manner.
• Coordinate the delivery and/or pick-up with the on-site contact / representative.
• When not driving, perform warehouse duties: inspecting and reconditioning equipment, loading/unloading trucks, cleaning trucks.
• Undertake other duties or special tasks as assigned by the Manager.
