Job summary

System Transport is seeking recent CDL-A graduate drivers for regional flatbed routes with home weekends. You will transport glass, steel, aluminum, and building materials using late-model equipment in a safety-focused operation.

We offer a comprehensive pay package ($0.65–$0.69 per mile, $1,018.63–$2,152.27 weekly) and full benefits, plus a paid orientation in Spokane, Washington. Training is provided for graduates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A driver’s license (CDL-A).
• 6+ months of driving experience required; recent grads may train.
• Safe driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
• Background check required.
• A clean drug test required.
• Clean Clearinghouse results required.
• Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform.

Responsibilities

• Transport important goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals.
• Operate late-model equipment with modern safety technology.
• Participate in orientation and training program.

Driver Benefits

GREAT PAY PACKAGE

• Earn $0.65 to $0.69 per mile, depending on experience
• Earn $1,018.63 - $2,152.27 per week depending on experience, routes, regular attendance, and length of service
• Full pay package also includes other accessorial compensation to include tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay as appropriate

Looking for an exciting driving opportunity in the western region of America? System Transport is hiring Recent CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes. As a driver, you will be transporting important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. No Experience? No Problem!

For a limited time, through September 30, 2026, we are accepting applications from Recent CDL-A graduates and we will train you! Applicants must possess a valid CDL-A license and meet all other standard hiring requirements (see below).

How To Qualify

• REQUIRED: Must have a valid Class A driver’s license (CDL-A)
• REQUIRED: 6+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
• REQUIRED: A safe driving record on the road
• REQUIRED: Must be 21 years of age or older
• REQUIRED: No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
• REQUIRED: Background check required
• REQUIRED: A clean drug test required
• REQUIRED: Clean clearinghouse results required
• REQUIRED: For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads. (this is required)
