Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Truck Driver to transport live poultry or poultry feed in a safe, compliant manner. You will operate a Class A CDL vehicle and perform pre-trip inspections daily.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading as needed, securing loads, maintaining accurate records, and reporting maintenance issues. DOT and company policies govern all operations; night and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required with 1 year verifiable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT/state/federal laws and safe driving practices.
• Ability to read and write legibly for logs and paperwork.
• Capable of working unsupervised with reliability and initiative.
• Strong work ethic, honesty and personal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle for transport of live poultry or poultry feed.
• Perform and document pre-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed and ensure secure loads.
• Maintain accurate trip, equipment and weight documentation.
• Report truck or equipment issues to supervisor and comply with policies.
