Job summary

Riverside Transport, Inc. is hiring a Yard Jockey/Hostler to join its team near Suffolk, VA. You will hook trailers, secure doors, operate landing gear, and slide tandems while earning competitive hourly pay.

Day and night shifts are available, with three days off per week and full company benefits including medical, PTO and holiday pay. Applicants must hold a valid CDL A license with yard or driving experience and reside within 50 miles of Suffolk.

Yard Jockey / Hostler

• Earn $22-$23 per hour, depending on shift
• Day and night shifts available
• Responsible for hooking trailers, securing doors, using landing gear, and sliding tandems.
• 3 days off per week
• Full company benefits including medical, PTO and holiday pay
• $500 orientation pay

Driver Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• CDL A driving or yard experience
• Must live within 50 mi of Suffolk, VA
