Job summary

GAATCO is seeking a CDL-A dedicated truck driver for a Bridgeport, NJ area route with home weekly time. This position emphasizes consistent miles, a predictable schedule, and night driving as needed.

The driver will handle a regional route with drop-and-hook freight, about 9 stops weekly, and routes through NJ, PA, MD, NY, MA, CT, DE. Competitive pay includes weekly home time and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Must be comfortable driving at night.

Responsibilities

A dedicated CDL-A opportunity is now hiring experienced truck drivers for a consistent regional operation based near Bridgeport, NJ. This position offers steady miles, predictable home time, and primarily drop-and-hook freight with minimal driver touch.

Pay & Home Time

• Average weekly pay: $1,650.00+
• Annual earning potential: $65,000.00–$80,000.00
• Approximately 1,896 miles per week
• Home weekly
• Potential for additional home time during the week
• Weekend home time with a 34-hour reset
• $500.00 new-hire transition bonus
• $3,000.00 driver referral bonus

Job Details

• Dedicated regional operation
• Approximately 9 stops per week
• Routes through NJ, PA, MD, NY, MA, CT and DE
• No NYC driving
• Sunday afternoon through Friday schedule
• Dispatch times generally between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM
• Primarily drop-and-hook freight with minimal touch
• Medical supply freight
• 53-foot swing-door trailers
• On-site truck parking available

Additional Pay

• $27.00 stop pay
• $25.00 delay pay
