Job summary

A waste management company is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate vehicles safely and efficiently. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, report unsafe situations, and work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL.
• 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a pup trailer.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Immediately reports any unsafe situations.
• Participates and cooperates in scheduled training.
• Works closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies.
