GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods to our retail stores. You will operate a semi-truck, secure cargo, and comply with traffic and safety regulations to support efficient store operations.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, reading delivery assignments, driving tractor-trailer, weighing documentation, and maintaining logs. A Class A CDL plus 2 years of OTR or approved program completion are required, along with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 2 years over-the-road verifiable experience or completion of FMCSA-approved program.
• Ability to interpret DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Pass driving/backing evaluation by Fareway CDL Trainer.
• Samsara ELDs knowledge preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment before and after trips.
• Read delivery assignments prior to departure.
• Drive tractor-trailer to transport and deliver products, possibly over long distances.
• Maneuver truck into loading or unloading position.
• Document weight at weigh stations and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain driver logs according to regulations.
• Operate on-board technology.
• Return backhauls as assigned.
• Report to work as scheduled.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
