Job summary

C.R. England is seeking an experienced CDL-A truck driver for a 3-months experience role based out of the Shafter, CA Walmart DC. The position offers weekly pay, no-touch freight, and a dedicated account centered in CA/NV.

You will drive a sleeper tractor on a 53-ft van/reefer fleet with home-time built in via a 34-hour reset each week. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL and 3+ months of recent experience; applicants must be 21 or older, and the role targets on-site work with shifts

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• No students, recent graduates or trainees.
• Home time includes a 34-hour reset weekly.

Responsibilities

• Operate 53-ft dry van and reefer trailers on assigned lanes.
• No-touch freight on a Walmart distribution lane.
• Load may consist of 1 to 5 stops with possible backhaul to distribution center.
• Drive on a schedule with shifts starting between 3PM-9PM.

Are you an experienced CDL driver looking for a better fit? Drive for C.R. England, the premier refrigerated carrier in the country on a dedicated account based out of Shafter, CA. This is a no-touch freight acount. Load can be 1 to 5 stops with a possible backhaul back into the distribution center.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week

Freight originates at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA with deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV

Home Time: 34-hour reset weekly

Shifts for this fleet start between 3PM-9PM hours

Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hrs per week with the possibility of getting home mid-week

Band Pay based on experience

Driver Requirements:
