Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking CDL-A truck drivers to fill current and future local driving roles in Stafford, VA. Pay starts at $22+ per hour, with overtime opportunities depending on client needs.

You will operate straight and box trucks, assist with loading and unloading, perform pre/post-trip inspections, follow safety regulations, and communicate professionally with dispatch and customers at delivery sites. Valid CDL-A and DMV records review are required.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued Class A Commercial Drivers License.
• DMV Records Review.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight trucks, dump trucks, local delivery box trucks, or other specialized vehicle.
• Assist with loading and securing cargo using straps, chains or lifts; unload and/or assist with unloading of cargo at delivery site.
• May complete routine pre/post-trip safety inspections, as required.
• Follow Federal, State and local traffic laws and company policy for safety and requirements for maintaining log books.
• Communicate with supervisors and/or dispatchers and interact professionally with customers at delivery site.

Responsibilities: Core responsibilities include:

• Vehicle operation: Drive straight trucks, dump trucks, local delivery box trucks, or other specialized vehicle
• Loading and unloading:Assist with loading and securing cargo using straps, chains or lifts; Unload and/or assist with unloading of cargo at delivery site.
