Job summary

Idaho Milk Transport is seeking Class-A CDL drivers to transport bulk food grade liquid across 11 Western and Midwest states. You will work with modern equipment, upholding safety and efficiency on every trip.

Drivers are typically out 10–14 days with flexible hometime, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. Training is provided, with opportunities for endorsements and professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and 12 months tractor/trailer experience required.
• Tank endorsement and doubles/triples endorsements desired.
• Ability to obtain endorsements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport liquid bulk product to dairy farms and processing plants.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

We are currently seeking highly motivated CDL-A truck drivers to join our team!

We Offer:

• Drivers average $70K-$100K/yearly
• Paid by the mile (.65 CPM)
• Drivers are out10-14 days at a time
• Hometime is flexible - usually 2 days home for every 1 week out
• Delay pay after 2 hours $20/hour
• Layover pay $200/day
• Breakdown pay $15/hour
• Quarterly safety bonus

Responsibilities:

• Transport liquid bulk product over land to and from dairy farms and processing plants.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Requirements:

• CDL-A
• 12 months recent and verifiable tractor/trailer experience
• Ability to obtain tank endorsement
• Doubles/Triples endorsement
