Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Lancaster, PA. The CDL A Truck Driver will safely operate company or client vehicles to transport goods and materials on scheduled routes and on-demand runs throughout the service area. Responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, following all DOT and company safety regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation. The driver will load and unload freight as needed, verify shipment accuracy, and provide professional, courteous service to customers at each stop. The role also involves coordinating with dispatch for route updates, communicating promptly about delays or issues, and supporting dedicated courier and driver leasing operations when assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience with route driving, local and regional deliveries, and familiarity with Mid-Atlantic roadways is preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections, handle basic troubleshooting, and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Strong customer service skills, including professional communication, reliability, and a courteous demeanor at delivery locations.
• Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight, including lifting, moving, and handling packages and materials safely.
• Dependable time management skills with the ability to follow schedules, adapt to on-demand and emergency runs, and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience as a commercial truck driver or courier is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, follow company policies, and maintain accurate paperwork and electronic logs.
