Job summary

Dollar General Fleet is hiring CDL-A Company Drivers to haul freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers and stores. Drivers typically enjoy weekly home-time and the potential to earn up to $100,000 per year with experience.

Training is paid, and there are benefits from day one. Responsibilities include timely deliveries, safe unloading of rolltainers, and operating the tractor-trailer under applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and 21+ years old.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation or accidents in 3 years.
• Paid unloading and safe handling of rolltainers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time to Dollar General stores and distribution centers.
• Unload freight and rolltainers safely at delivery sites.
• Operate CDL-A vehicle and comply with regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No more than one moving violation or accidents in the past 3 years
• Paid unloading; unload freight and rolltainers at each delivery site in a safe and efficient manner

Dollar General Fleet is currently hiring CDL-A Company Drivers! Company-Drivers are responsible for on time delivery of freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. Responsible for hauling and unloading multi-stop freight to Dollar General Stores and also returning freight (as required) and rolltainers to the Distribution Center. Responsible for safely operating the vehicle and transporting all freight, which includes interstate and intrastate deliveries.
