Job summary

HK Contractors, a CRH Company, is hiring a Transport Driver in Idaho Falls to safely deliver construction materials, aggregates, and equipment to sites and customers. You will ensure timely, compliant operations and maintain accurate records while operating end dumps or belly dumps with pup trailers.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to DOT regulations, with benefits supporting employee well-being and growth within a large, stable organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• CDL Class A with Doubles/Triples endorsements and DOT Medical Card are required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Incident-free driving record preferred; drug/alcohol testing may be required.
• Ability to communicate using two-way radio; basic math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate end dumps and/or belly dumps (with/without pups) safely and efficiently.
• Keep time and material records.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Know types and sizes of aggregates.
• Maneuver and back up with pup trailer.
• Communicate effectively on the radio system.
• Connect and disconnect pup trailer.
