Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking a Transfer Trailer Driver to safely operate heavy trucks to deliver and remove large containers from transfer stations to landfills. The position offers an hourly rate of $24.00 to $27.00 per hour based on experience.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 18 years old, and legal work eligibility in the United States, with prior experience driving commercial trucks and the ability to lift 50 lbs+.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Operates heavy truck along designated route to disposal site and services customers as identified.
• Interacts politely with customers and dispatchers; ensures routes are serviced on time.
• Monitors materials for evidence of unacceptable waste.
• Cleans areas around waste spills and follows safety standards.
• Maintains vehicle readiness and minimizes downtime; cleans waste from container edges.
• Participates in training and other learning opportunities to support company goals.
